WE ARE TRIPLE AWARD WINNERS!!

For the 5th year running, we are thrilled to have won a massive THREE! out of four awards that we were finalists for at the Salon Awards!! Huge congratulations to Junior Stylist Emily who scooped the Future Talent Award for the Surrey region, so well deserved, we are so proud of you Emily!. We also took home Best Texture Salon in Surrey which is amazing as this is a relatively new service which is growing rapidly in the salon. Last but not least we won Best Sustainable Salon in Surrey for the second year running, a title we hope to hold onto as we strive to become even more sustainable. Well done team!!.

We have won two new awards!

We are thrilled to have won two awards last month at the British Hair and Beauty Awards!

Amanda Flory hairdressing was awarded Silver Winner for Eco/Sustainable Salon of the Year and Bronze Winner for Curly Hair Specialist of the Year. Our Curly Service is still relatively new to the salon and we are always striving to be more sustainable so we are thrilled to be recognised for our hard work and talent.

We have been shortlisted for 4 awards!!

For the 5th year running we are finalists at The Salon Awards! We are so pleased to have been shortlisted for 4 categories and cant wait for the awards ceremony in November. Watch this space for the results!

New Product launch!

Orilab

We are extremely proud and excited to be the first salon in the UK to stock the sustainable and organic range Orilab. Orilab are a luxury hair care range which have a no water concept, meaning that the water in their products is replaced with Aloe vera which is ultra nourishing and gentle on the scalp. All of Orilab’s products contain beautiful certified Organic ingredients, are cruelty free, free from sulphates and parabens and use recycled and recyclable packaging, We offer a refill service for Orilab products to further limit our impact on the environment.

Oway

Oway are an environmentally friendly and fully sustainable company producing beautiful and thoughtfully created haircare and lifestyle choices. Oway is Biodynamic, organic and also fair trade. The products are cruelty free and contain complex formulas, rich in active ingredients to really benefit your hair. All of the packaging is 85% glass and has FSC paper labels, the idea being that you have one bottle for life. The production Laboratories use renewable energy and sustainable and certified processes. This is a company that truly are doing everything they can to be carbon neutral, sustainable and ethical and what’s more, the products are gorgeous! We offer a refill service for Oway products in the salon.

Alongside being finalists for Best Salon and Best Team, we are so proud to have been awarded Most Sustainable Salon for the first time this year. This is a great achievement for as we have been working hard, making many changes in the salon over the last year to make our salon more eco-friendly.

The salon was also awarded Best Customer Experience for the second time. The customers experience is so important to us as a salon and something we work extremely hard at, so it is amazing to have been recognised for this. Well done team for all of your hard work over the last year!!

Amanda runs the London Marathon

After the disappointment of last years Marathon being cancelled
Amanda is once again donning her running shoes for this years virtual event.
With broken toes and Covid obstacles hampering her training, Amanda is a little nervous about the task ahead, but she is determined to get to the finish line with a smile on her face!
The charity that Amanda has chosen to support is the amazing Napa. An amazing charity that helps the elderly and those suffering with Dementia to live life to the full.
Any donation to Amanda’s chosen charity and to support her on her run would be amazing and hugely appreciated.

Green Salon Collective

We are now proud members of the Green Salon Collective, a fantastic organisation that recycle all of our Foil, Hair and chemicals safely and without damage to the environment. Our Hair is now used as Hair Booms which soak up oil in lakes, rivers and seas and as fertiliser for growing food. Our Chemicals are disposed of without contaminating water ways and all of our foil is recycled responsibly. we are passionate about making our salon as sustainable as possible and are constantly looking for new ways to improve our carbon footprint.

IMPORTANT!! New procedure for patch testing from 12th April 2021

Following the most recent lockdown there have been legal changes to procedures for patch tests for colour services. From now on, If you have not had a colour service in the last 12 months you are now required to have one before we can proceed.
